Our college always takes pretest before the board exam.
It is just a doubt clearing session.
Our syllabus for the year is finished more or less and here we are making ourselves ready for the forthcoming exams.

I stopped at the gate when I heard my friend Lekden call me from behind. She jogs to reach where I am.
Placing the identity card on the biometric machine, she says breathlessly, ‘Good morning! How’s your preparation?’
She’s always a competitive girl and I accept that she is way more brilliant than I am.
But this nagging is what I hate about her.
I smile back as genuinely as possible.
“Morning Lekdu…you know me, right? I have just prepared enough!”.
