No Longer a Haven
Somehow, my room looked different, although I couldn’t immediately put my finger on why, so I placed a pillow on my chair, then sat at my desk and began to work on the projects set for me, even though I would start at a new school tomorrow. The strap between my legs grew increasingly uncomfortable after about five minutes of being seated and I went to my bed and took another pillow to sit on, and it was then I saw it. I gasped with terror, for a gleaming, chain ran from a ring now bolted into the headboard of the bed and lay shining evilly up at me from where I had removed the pillow.
