Tracy’s POV
I was super excited when Karen called me and said she was coming to London to spend a few days with me, I’ve missed her so much and having her around just sometimes brightens my day. I was able to convince Riley to permit me to skip work today so that I could welcome Karen when she arrives and also prepare her best meal for her when she arrives.
I just finished cooking and was tiding up the kitchen when I heard a knock on the front door.
“She’s here” I said, removing my apron and placing it on the counter and running to go open the door for her.
“Karen!!” I screamed and ran into her arms. We stayed like that for a few minutes before I released her from her grip.
“You need to stop acting like a teen, you are currently on your way to being 31” she said In a mocking tone.
