“The woman she’s fighting is part human. Since the person with her is a bear I would assume that’s what her other part is,” Ryker said before walking back over to us.
I stood up and placed my mouth to Kalli’s ear. “You can’t fight her. Let me get you out of here.”
She took a step back and looked at my face. “No, I’m not leaving. You were invited because I genuinely wanted you here, but not if you’re just going to pull some macho crap on me before my match starts.”
