I was successful at avoiding Danny, but it was grueling. I’d have frequent urges to talk to her, pick on her, or even kiss that pissed look off her face. She could hold a grudge forever, unlike me, but I could get insensitive if I was legitimately angry, which I was now.
Danny already left for English since I was ignoring her, and Hailey used the chance to cling onto me. I wasn’t disturbed by Hailey, but whenever Danny and I made eye-contact, I had to move elsewhere or else my anger would dissipate.
