Every morning, I brushed my teeth an extra minute and scrubbed my mouth ten seconds a night. Creating a routine for this might be a bit senile, but until the mere thought of even kissing Richard passed my mind, I didn’t think I could stop.
Jacob and Ashley met yesterday. He went to a different school, but meeting with Ashley wasn’t a big issue at all. They’d only met twice in their life so far, so getting close would take some time. Max was supportive of the relationship – of course – but he still had his worries.
Today, I had to talk to Richard about the suggestions Devin and I had so we could guide Ashley and Jacob a little more before they took control of the wheel.
