Day 6- Bristol
I was dying . I knew it. I had accepted it. I didn’t like it but then I didn’t really have to.
I wasn’t scared of my life ending. I never had been. They had beaten that out of us pretty early on in our training . But I was a warrior . My death should be on the battle field. Taking down as many of my enemy as possible. It shouldn’t be like this. In my bed like an old frail man.
But at least Jade was here with me. Somehow that made it easier. It lessened the pain a little.
“I don’t want you to die.” Her voice was mumbled as she pressed her face against my chest. Her tears stinging like acid. Weakly my arm went around her.
