Chapter Thirty
“Hey,” Travis said as he followed me at the table. I sat down before I looked up at him. He sat in front of me as he held my hand that was on the table.
I sighed. “I’m sorry for walking out,” I apologized.
He nodded and smiled at me. He squeezed my hand. “I understand,” he said. “I know you were not comfortable with it. And I’m sorry, too. I’ll try to avoid being touched by someone harder next time,” he smiled at me.
I nodded at him. I know I was being just jealous but if someone who knows about our relationship could do that even with me in front of her, how much more if I am not in the picture?
I trust Travis. But I don’t trust those who don’t know how to respect someone else’s relationship.
