I looked down at the ring in the velvet box. It was beautiful. It was made up of a central stone that was a pale pink and then clear stones surrounding it. It glittered in the moonlight. Everything about this was perfect, like it was something in a book or a movie. Dominic smiled up at me with all the love in his eyes. I believed every word he said when he said I was the love of his life. The setting was amazing, a private island on a lake with the moon shining down. It was absolutely perfect.
