*Kim POV*
It has been a couple weeks since I marked Xander. Lately, he has been very distant with me. I know that I am not losing him, but he seems like he has an invisible hold or something on him. There are days when I wonder through the pack house and hear Xander arguing with himself. I feel all his suffering through the mate bond and all I want to do is help him, but any time I get close he tenses and closes me out. I decided to visit Fran and Max at the diner. Xander has taken me there to eat a few times since he saw me there that first day. Xander is still protective and extremely possessive over me, but he has just been sidetracked lately. I didn't really think it was necessary to tell Xander where I was going, because he has been occupied and I didn't want to stress him out more.
