QUICKENING. IBA PALA ang pakiramdam kapag naramdaman mo ang paggalaw ng iyong anak sa loob ng tiyan ng asawa mo. “I’m glad I was able to feel him move with you. Mukhang hinintay lang ako ng anak natin para gumalaw siya.”
That made her smile and I saw her swallowed. “I’m glad you’re here to share this moment with me.”
Pagkunwa’y naalala ko ang sorpresa ko sa kanya. “I think we’ll be here for a couple more days at saka pa lang tayo makakauwi.”
“Mukha nga. But it’s better to be safe than sorry.”
Tumikhim ako. “I have a surprise for you if you haven’t seen it yet.”
Napakunot-noo siya, “What surprise?”
“You’ll see. Surprise nga eh. I hope you will like it,” sabi ko sa kanya.
Umungol ito. Pinky hates waiting. Napakamainipin talaga nito.
“But I want to know what is now, so tell me.”
