I stood at the entrance of Padre Pio Parish in Sto. Tomas, Batangas and marveled at the beauty and solemnity of the church. The perfect weather in itself was a blessing and the open-air shrine allowed the streaks of morning sunlight to pass through and make the vast altar illuminate with divine radiance.
I have always loved the native design of this church. The structure is made of bamboo and nipa, matching the wooden pews perfectly lined up on the whole area. Now it looks even more amazing especially because my dream wedding is about to happen here.
White and yellow flowers adorned the aisle, a red carpet awaits in the middle and the belfry on the right side of the church stood tall, as if anticipating to witness the unveiling of the best day of my life.
