I was finally dressed in some normal clothes as I stepped out of the bathroom. It was time for me to leave the hospital and move to a real room.
My daughter was already waiting for me, and she was very excited that I was leaving the hospital. It had been a week since I woke up, and I hadn’t seen Logan for a while.
I hoped he just thought I needed some time to recover and space, but I did worry a little that he might have changed his mind. I still wanted to explore this connection and see if we could figure out if we could be mates.
