I left Piper to rest after I took her back to the room. I didn't miss the tone of her voice. I wanted to tell her it wasn't babysitting, but she seemed uncomfortable when I placed her on the bed, so instead, I kissed her forehead and left.
I knew I had to hold church. Bash had taken Molly to the hospital, so I knew he wouldn't be there.
Making my way to the room we used, I tossed my phone in the bin by the door. As I stepped in, everyone was already there.
