“Where are we?” Rex hands me sunglasses, and I angrily throw them on.
“Trevor asked me not to tell you until he arrives.”
“Damn it,” I stand like a scorned child near the food stands of an old village, “can we at least find tacos?”
“Absolutely.”
“We have to wait for the car so we can get out of this village and into the city.”
“Isn’t it weird how their airport is in a village?”
“It’s a weird country, I guess.”
“Hmm,” I wrap my hands around myself, staring at the stalls. People passed by, and there were obviously tourists around us that contrasted with the brown skin of the native citizens.
There were different fruits, and roasted foods being sold, and I’m not sure if was the flight, the uncertainty, or the thought of tacos, but I was craving whatever they had.
