From out of the trees, another type of hybrid appeared—kettelul. Their long and tinkling yaps disturbed the silence a while ago, making some goosebumps crawl on our skin. Their lidless eyes glowed reddish white, contrasting their black bodies. The lower part was half human, thus the black thin pants they wore, while the upper part was half axolotls. Their wide mouths were ajar, like they were smiling at us. Well, axolotls seemed to be never sad because of the shape of their wide mouths. They always appear happy. Meanwhile, the three pairs of their gills were out even though they were on land, flapping as they moved.
