I thought I can let it pass. However, before getting into my car, I typed a message.
‘There was a party? Why I was not aware?’
I send the message in our group chat and insert my phone back into my pocket. As I step inside my car, my phone rings. I thought it is from one of my friends, but it was Hyko.
“Hello,” I roll my eyes. I’m already a couple of minutes late yet I’m still here at our house.
“Where are you?” His cold low voice sounds husky over the phone.
“House,” I lazily answer while I secure my seatbelt.
I usually move fast but today, I have no energy of getting up from bed. Even though I consoled myself many times that it wasn’t a big deal and I couldn’t join the party if I was invited, it still gets in my head. How could they not invite me? Ugh!
