I woke up lying in bed. It was disoriented for a bit until I realized I am in the hospital. I looked around and I saw Ram holding my hand with his head on the side of the bed. I lifted my other hand and stroked his hair. After a while, he lifted his head and looked at me. I was looking at him smiling. I couldn’t help it, the sight of him warms my heart and it makes me want to smile.
Ram immediately stood up as he realized what’s happening. He went to peck my lips and he spoke while stroking my hair.
Ram: “Hi baby girl. How are you feeling?”
Denise: “I’m okay. What happened?”
