I had trouble sleeping, knowing someone had been in my room. Even though Will was still outside, I kept tossing and turning. He had thoroughly inspected my room for anything suspicious but had found nothing, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling of paranoia.
I threw off the blanket and found a deep red rope with a beautiful gold tie running along the edges. I wrapped it around myself and walked carefully to the door leading outside. I hesitated briefly before grabbing the handle and opening the door.
