Everything faded into the background, nothing else mattered. My baby was gone, out there, goddess knows where, on her own with those savages. What were they planning to do to her? Would she have the same pathetic upbringing I had suffered? Would they even spare her life or was she already dead, laying in a ditch somewhere.
I could feel the sparks of the mate bond on my hand, but Alex’s presence was the last of my priorities right now. I needed to get my pup back. Ember, that was her name. I hadn’t even had to think about it, I just knew.
“We need to turn back. We need to find her.” I said suddenly.
“We can’t turn back, two of the babies are already back at the castle, one is currently in the air and one is at the airfield right now. You have to concentrate on them now.”
