“So, what is the real reason for your visit?” Diane asked placing her fingertips against each other and leaning back in her seat. She gazed at Jared and me over her fingertips like she was analyzing us.
“You were looking for Athena and Jared did his part to convince me to come to see you in person, so I don’t freak you out when I show up for my fight against Ivy,” I explained.
“But you are Sabrina Denver,” She noted.
“Is that going to be a problem?” I asked and noticed Jared’s pleading look out of the corner of my eye, knowing that he was begging me to tone down a bit on my attitude.
