“Iris,” Anna called just as her sister finished talking to the six people who had volunteered to go with her to the Otherworld, including Clare. The latter looked so pale and scared, Anna wasn’t entirely sure she understood what she was signing up for. Still, when she had tried to convince the blonde girl not to go, Claire had just smiled, saying that she would do her part for the Order and their future, even if it meant dying. It was strange to hear those words coming from the weak, fearful recruit who could barely face her opponent on the training grounds.
