The last week had been one of the busiest of my life. But I was so ready for the challenge of proving a female could do just as good of a job as a male could as the only Gamma to a pack. And best of all, I was getting to do that as Asher’s Gamma. We had grown up together. Him and his cousin Noah. They had been my best friends growing up. I had once wished Noah would be my mate. But if he had been, I never found out since he had been killed before my eighteenth birthday. So when the news was spread to the pack that Asher had killed Noah and his father, I was devastated.
