Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.
“Hello ?”, I picked up my phone without checking the caller ID while I hurried towards my bike.
“Greetings Alpha !”, came in a cheery voice.
“Uh oh !”, I replied in dismay, feeling sad all of a sudden. I had been dreading this all night after my brothers and dads left. I felt bad, really bad.
“What happened ?”, Dante asked worriedly, recognizing the dead sad tone in my voice. He was a good Beta.
“So we are officially over, isn’t it ? You greeted me as your Alpha. So formal, Beta Dante. I feel heartbroken even if this was fake”, I brokenly said. I felt tears brimming up my eyes.
