Pinching myself only made my cheeks red and swollen. It hurt like heck-o! But how else would I prove I was just dreaming?
I’ve been in this city for two days! The things have been happening in a smooth sequence. No jumps. No abrupt change in setting. No blurred faces. No banana-shaped chicken turkey.
Colors were on point. I could taste my food. I felt emotions. I could hear my own breathing sometimes. I counted all my fingers and toes I got no extra or missing in any other parts of my body. Thank the heavens!
