Nicole and I take our seats on the ferris wheel, just before it moves forward. I look over at the crew and see Kent waving cutely and Paige shooting him a glare. I have a feeling that she is not going to allow them to enjoy their ride. Kent did me a solid by making sure that I had a moment alone with Nicole. If he didn’t help I would have spent the majority of the night, unsuccessfully, trying to shake everyone.
“You having a good time.” I ask her, feeling a grin stretch across my face. It is probably the first time I smiled since we got here.
“Yes. You?”
“If you are having a good time, I’m having a good time.”
“Yeah, but the next few days are going to infringe on your introverted ways.”
