Zoe’s POV
For someone who was so vastly independent, this healing process and taking it easy was a load of crock. The first week I tolerated it, the second week, it got mildly annoying, and by week six at Eddie's apartment, I was climbing the walls. It was no one's fault. Eddie did everything he could to make me feel at home, Agnes had pulled out all the stops as far as food was concerned, and I had a revolving door of visitors to keep me company. However, I had so many limitations it was driving me crazy. Between the pregnancy and my injuries, I got tired by just doing simple tasks like getting dressed. Showers were a two-hour event thanks to the cast on my lower leg, and walking from the bedroom to the lounge area still left me breathless, as if I had just run a marathon.
