Joshua’s POV:
I had to see Emma, after the evening I just had, I needed to be close to her, to inhale her, feel her. I slipped out my window at about 2 o’clock in the morning. Everything was dark, with just a few lights shining, I noticed some guards patrolling the area, making sure to avoid them.
As I slipped of my balcony onto the balcony below, I noticed Aaron walk quickly through the forest. I watched as he looked around as if checking if someone was following him. I wanted to follow him, but my need for Emma was desperate. I made a mental note to follow him over the next couple of days.
