Late spring has given way to full summer. Walking home from the diner, the heat is almost unbearable, even on the shady side of the street. I walk up the hill toward the town square. Summer in Gettysburg is always busy with tourists. It’s only about a 30-minute walk to Jay’s place -no, to my place, I’m still not used to that.  Today, the restaurants around the circle have exploded with customers. Outside tables are full and groups of people mill around the storefronts waiting. I dodge the crowds and make my way across the street. The old antique dealer on the corner closed down before I moved home. Last week it reopened as a fancy chocolatier. The sweet aroma as I go by entices me to finally check it out. The sheer variety of chocolates here is nearly endless. It’s expensive though.  A c
