When dusk settled over the forest, the trio of Sierra, Leonard and Brandon had made it to the clearing just in time. Leonard declared that they would camp here for the night, and he set about checking the perimeter to make sure that they weren't susceptible to any attacks.
"Gather some wood for the fire," he told Brandon and Sierra. "Get as much as you can."
When he left them, Sierra was left alone with Brandon, and she didn't know what to do. He stood before her awkwardly as well, and there was very little for them to say to each other.
Brandon hesitated. It looked like he wanted to tell her something, but then he was afraid of how she might receive it. And Sierra saw this too, so she sighed and gestured for him to follow.
