“Who is the girl you have bought?” Damien’s father asked him. I was the girl that Damien bought.
There was silence after that. He didn’t mutter a single word. From what it seemed like, he was actually scared of his father.
“She’s—” Before Damien could complete his father cut him off.
“Your mate?” He asked.
“How did you know?” Damien asked his father. What was a mate? I heard this word a billion times but I could never understand what it actually was.
“I could feel it, anyways, that isn’t the reason why I’m talking with you right now. When are you going to kill her?” His father asked. Kill me? That was a little harsh. I was just 18 years of age, I couldn’t die so early.
