Fall in Ann Arbor, Michigan was my favorite time of the year. Not only does it offer some of the best weather for trail riding and horse showing, it’s also football season. Andy has suggested my love for the sport was based on the tight pants the players wear, showing off their delicious buns to perfection. I couldn’t completely argue against that point.
This year we not only had U of M football to look forward to, but Brad playing on the high school football team as well. He had secured a starting position as tight end. We spent Friday nights either here in town or traveling to his games. Saturday afternoons we spent at the U of M stadium or gathered around the tube. Sundays were trail rides or horse shows.
