Monday came and I could not help but get excited. I’m getting excited for Mom to know that she will be getting that early retirement that she had hoped for.
Even if I still wanted to stay in my room and wait until Aaron leaves the house, which was what I was doing for weeks already, I went down to the kitchen to help Sherie prepare breakfast for the family. She and Allan had stayed over the whole weekend for Charlotte.
I don’t want to be tagged as lazy. I’m sure Sherie will not think of me that way, but I still have to show courtesy to both elders.
