Dylan’s POV
My body suddenly stiffened and alerted when Cai said that there was someone in her room. I gently pulled her from her arm away from the door to my side.
“I will go inside. Don’t come in until I tell you.” I said with my gaze fixed at the door. I slowly opened the door and scanned the room with my eyes before I completely entered. The room was empty as far as my eyes could see. Then, I sniffed to catch for any scent but there was nothing except for Cai’s scent. I searched all the areas of the room but didn’t find anything odd, the room was tidy except for the coiled blanket on the bed.
“You can come in now.” I called.
“There was no one here, I did not catch any scent either.” I added and Cai stood beside me.
