weeks later
I was actually in the middle of nowhere, in a bed and breakfast eating not so fine food. Added to my morning sickness nothing stayed in my stomach for longer than 30 minutes and these are the times that I missed Max even more.
I walked up to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror, the swelling of my breast was evident and the paleness of my black skin showed. I wasn’t feeling bad because in a few months I it would all be worth it. All the pain, sorrow and neglect would be worth.
I looked out the window and the weather was gloomy, kind of how I felt like. There was a knock on my door and I hoped it wasn’t the owner of the bed and breakfast asking me yet again if I wanted to buy something.
