I was emotionally drained, tired and scared out of my pants. For the past ten minutes, my hand had been glued to the wheel of my car in the parking lot of Mr Davis. My eyes were tightly shut; I seriously doubted my capabilities as a lawyer now.
I had just come from Mr Davis household and like a nightmare unfolding before my eyes; the yellow tape said it all. I tried to rush into his house but a kind police officer had stopped me from
getting in, he asked me if I was family and I told him that I was an associate of his unfortunately that wasn’t enough to allow me access in the house.
I remembered his house cleaner who was now coming down the steps of his house, crying her eyes out. I called out to her and she ran to me and hugged me tightly but I was still confused.
“What happened?”
