“That was amazing!” Stephanie said, twirling in a small circle in front of them as they stood outside of the theater. “The skill and athleticism and artistry. Truly spectacular.”
Jesse grinned at her. “Right? I’m so glad you loved it like we do.”
Grant enjoyed the glowing smiles on both of their faces. He’d had to resist the urge to tease them during the show, to use the cover of darkness to get away with driving them crazy, but he hadn’t wanted to distract Stephanie from the full experience of the show, so he’d behaved himself. Barely.
