I walked out of his office in complete shock I had stood up to him like that. I was breathing so hard my chest was rising and falling quickly. I never stood up for myself like that, but I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. I quickly walked down the hallway trying to find the bathroom. Door after door I couldn't find it. Sarah came walking out of one of the offices. "Ava are you ok?"
"Bathroom."
"Here I'll show you." I followed her down the other side of the hallway, into the bathroom. I ran into one of the stalls, and tried to compose myself. I took a deep breath and walked out, Sarah still standing there. "Are you ok? What happened?"
"Mr. Dalton tired to apolagize to me, and I cut him off telling him he wasn’t my type either. That we should just keep it professional."
