Darin’s POV
Her eyes widened in shock as we glanced into each other’s eyes. Looking nervous, she struggled to free herself from my grip, but I got annoyed and pinned both hands above her head.
“Stay calm,” I ordered, and instantly she obeyed and went numb, her anger-filled eyes glancing at me. I grunted, feeling uncomfortable by her stares, but I didn’t want to show it. It's funny how my entire being reacts whenever we are this close.
Mesmerized by her eyes, I lost control of myself and kept staring at her until I heard Darwin call out to me.
