“Goddamn motherfucking piece of s**t!” I tossed my jammed nail g*n aside.
“The f**k is your problem?” Blake asked, sunlight glinting off his shades as he ambled toward me.
I’d been too worked up to be an office prop and had made myself busy with the other guys framing out a section of the new school. But no matter what I did, it seemed life was out to f**k me up.
“Goddamn piece of s**t,” I said again while motioning toward the g*n with my chin.
Blake chuckled while I grabbed my cold Dunks cup off the cement floor and guzzled down the last of my morning’s coffee. “Jessie, huh?” he asked.
I nodded, my guts clenched up over the fact I couldn’t get past her. “Can’t sleep without dreaming about her. Can’t get it up because of her too. Took f*****g pills to make that s**t
