I didn't speak to Joemar for the next week because I wanted to focus on my final examinations. I decided to stay in my dorm room to be able to study quietly without distractions. It also helped that I could go to the library anytime I wanted a different environment to study.
I didn't say goodbye to Joemar and just sent him a text to let him know where I was. He didn't send a reply, which made me a little heartbroken, but I decided not to dwell on it.
This is exactly the reason why I didn't want to get into a relationship. I knew it was going to be a distraction.
It's a moot point right now, because I am with Joemar, and I'm just going to have to make the most of my situation. My priority is still fulfilling my dream, but I don't necessarily want to give up Joemar eit
