“Try this. You will love it” I gave Jayden a spoonful of bananas with cream, a delicious and popular snack here. He opened his mouth and tasted it. His eyes were closed as he moaned at the flavor.
“That is really good, I would love to order a few more,” he said in Spanish to the vendor.
“No, Juan. This is enough, thank you” I waved goodbye and we kept walking while sharing the succulent dessert. We visited different areas and he loved every single one of them.
I have to admit, I missed this place, but I want to be back with Jayden and my dad. Also Sara, who I know is missing me too. Jayden noticed my struggle and held my hand.
“We are going back home soon. I promise” he said, putting my arms around my shoulder as we kept walking and enjoying the day.
