Chapter Thirty-Two
“Kitty”, Rich shouts. “Kitty stop”.
Rich is seriously the only one who has ever called me Kitty. It’s a nickname that turns me on unreasonably much, and if it wasn’t Rich I wouldn’t have accepted that nickname at all.
I stop and turn around.
“Did he die?” I ask.
Rich laughs. “No, but he did look like you gave him one hell of a shock”, he says.
“I couldn’t help it”, I say. “I just couldn’t help it, when I saw that necklace around Astra I just wanted to strangle all three of them”.
“Good thing you didn’t”, Rich chuckles.
“I guess”, I mumble.
I don’t know what to do now. I am not going back there, and my birthday is ruined. In one way I am not surprised, but in another way I’m disappointed.
