Chapter Thirty-Eight
Today I got home, I’ve been at the hospital for two days and today I got to go home. It’s weird how some days can go so slow it feels like months, and some days can feel like minutes or even seconds. Time is weird.
I’ve been lying on the couch since I got home, Rich doesn’t want me to strain myself, and I admit that I like the attention I’m getting from him. I am feeling a lot better and maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit, but I love that he wants to take care of me. He tells me to rest, he tells me that he can fix everything that’s needed before the wedding. Everything but the dress, his mother will take care of that, he can’t see the dress, that’s bad luck. I don’t know if I believe in superstitions, but I like tradition and such.
