Balancing Act “I’m going to blister your ass if you don’t get it right tonight,” Jane vowed, angrily. She stormed out the door, leaving Lea standing stock still in the middle of the shop. The younger woman took a deep breath and tried to calm her beating heart. Sometimes she wished Jane Stephens would live up to her threats. Maybe it would clear the testy air between them. Lea hated these fiery confrontations, especially when they got along so well otherwise. Lea didn’t know why she got flustered with the bookkeeping, but it was obviously not her forte, even if it was part of her job in Jane Stephen’s Antique Shop.
