She clung to me all the way to Law's, which took a few hours. I think she cried some back there, I felt the wetness hit my cheek when the wind was just right and my visor was up. I hated like f**k that this s**t was happening, that we hadn't even had time to really get to know each other before s**t went south.
On the other hand I was proud of her for standing up, that s**t was long overdue. And though I think somehow she knew she was in no danger from me, I was happy as f**k that she felt safe enough with me to do her thing.
