"Would you like me to go up with you, Miss?" My driver asked as he pulled up to the apartment building.
"Uh, no thanks. That's not really necessary."
"Are you sure? I can help you bring down your items."
"I'll be alright." If Hunter sent him with me, he must've been a good and trusted pack member. However, I still did not know him and wasn't comfortable having a stranger come up to my apartment with me.
"Ok, I'll be waiting for you down here."
I turned to him before I made a move to exit the car. "You don't have to do that. I have my own car that I can take back to the pack house."
"I have to stay with you until you're back at the house." He shrugged at me as if to say there was nothing he could do. "Alpha's orders."
