Venus Pov
I was surrounded in a sea of black cloth. Everyone dressed in their finest black clothes for this occasion, even I wore my favorite black dress. The entire pack was in mourning today and most likely for days to come. The sky rumbled and appeared a deep blue, showing that it was mourning for us as well.
The funeral was being held in a grand ballroom that was only a few miles from the pack house. It was the largest place so that as many people as possible could attend. School and even most work places closed so that pack members could be here. Families and close friends were allowed into the building first and the rest of the pack members that could fit. Those who couldn't be present, were told to take a few minutes at home in silence to honor the dead.
