Chapter 12
The story of Logan’s arrest for the murders of Vic and Neil made the news on the local TV newscasts Wednesday morning, as Alan found out when his hospital roommate insisted on turning on the television.
“‘Bout time they caught him,” the man said, “before he tried again. Well, I guess he did, and for once the cops were on the spot.”
Alan refrained from commenting, glad for Jim’s sake that he wasn’t mentioned at all, and only Alan’s last name was given, as the person who had been attacked. He hoped that held true with the newspaper, as well. The doctor came by just before noon, examined him then said he was free to leave, once the release papers were signed.
