ALIA'S POV
Surprisingly I was able to sleep last night even though the place is filthy. And I find it that lying down on this old, slightly dusty bed isn't that bad at all. I guess this is the effect of having the taste of so-called freedom. Willing to endure everything just to be free and spend the rest of my life with my mate.
If only uncle Alexander would allow me to be with my mate and come up with a better arrangement that will benefit all of us, I won't think of running off like this.
I look out the window; the sun is fully awake, and my stomach is growling from hunger. I am guessing that it's already past eight in the morning. Shall I hunt now or wait a bit more for Lia? What about my medicine? Was she able to find a way to get my heart pill?
